At Morpeth Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Public speaking
Our Public Speaking competition involves students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our talented students present their speech to class teachers and selected student speak at our Public Speaking assembly.
Students then have the opportunity to represent at zone and regional levels of the competition.
Creative and performing arts
Our school has high quality learning programs in music, visual arts, dance and drama. We are committed to identifying students with talent and providing explicit instruction to nurture and develop their skills and experiences, through targeted High Potential and Gifted Education programs. Students are given opportunities to perform at school and civic events, including Star Struck and MADD Day . All school assemblies feature performances from students.
Trips and excursions
Our school offers a range of stage-based excursions and incursions throughout the year. Students enjoy the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding through engaging in learning experiences that complement class-based activities.
