Morpeth is located on the Hunter River, north east of Maitland. It has a population of approximately 1100 and is a village of great historical importance. Morpeth Public school has been providing quality education on its present site since 1862 and is intrinsically linked to the community. The aim of the school is to provide a stimulating, balanced school curriculum allowing all children to do their best, while continually striving to improve effectiveness.
